Many times in US, I have faced problems how to address a person in email (Mr vs Ms.) when I just know their names but haven't met them.
I found this great tool - Geoff's Gender Guesser - which tells you with great "statistical" information, how likely the name would be a man or a woman. Try it out !!
Best part - it also works with Indian names (I should say 'Hindu' names).
